Delta Dental of Arkansas Tooth Fairy
Mommy, what does the Tooth Fairy do with all the teeth she collects?

What does she wear?

Where does she live?

Do you know the answers?

Most kids will quiz you at some point about the Tooth Fairy, whether they are about to lose their first tooth or the fifth.

Delta Dental of Arkansas caught up with the Tooth Fairy during the most recent Tooth Fairy Day.

Where do you live?

I live in a beautiful castle built of the healthiest, brightest teeth in a town called Glitterville.

What kind of food do you serve in the castle?

We serve only the best food to keep our teeth healthy. We eat a lot of fruit and vegetables! I love carrots and broccoli. We drink tap water in crystal glasses and we NEVER have sugar treats. They just ruin teeth if eaten often!

How do you know when a child loses a tooth?

In my castle, there is a golden bell that chimes whenever a child loses a tooth. I also have helpers. For example, my mouse friend, Ratoncito Perez, helps me in Spain and Latin America, and my elf and brownie friends collect teeth for me in Europe! I don’t know how I would do it without my friends’ help

You always dress so nicely, in glittery dress, shiny wings and sometimes even a tiara. You also carry a sparkling wand. Why so glamorous?

Well, a long time ago, my mother bought me a beautiful little dress that sparkled in the sunlight. The glint coming off that one dress made me realized I wanted to sparkle forever! That is why sometimes the treasures I leave children have little specks of glitter on them!

Also, I want to inspire children to take brush and floss each day, so their teeth and gums are healthy and their smile sparkles.

You are busy every night trading children’s teeth for treasures. Do you have time for anything else?

Twice a year, on February 28 and August 22, I celebrate Tooth Fairy Day. That’s when I like to educate parents and children of how to take good care of baby teeth and what to do when tooth becomes loose. I also give out coloring books

Thank you, Tooth Fairy, for this interview.

Wait, before you go, I would like to thank all the children for their adorable thank-you letters. They are so special to me!

And there you have it.
If you have questions for her, please post them on our social media pages.

Also, we wouldn’t be a dental insurance company if we didn’t remind you that even the Tooth Fairy’s magic might not be quite enough to keep your children’s teeth healthy. It’s important to brush and floss daily, eat healthy foods and see a dentist regularly.
