Understand the on-boarding process for new clients.

Thank you for choosing Delta Dental! We’re excited to welcome you and your employees to your new benefits from Delta Dental. To help you understand what happens as we set up your new benefits, here is a timeline of our on-boarding process.

First, you’ll receive an email from us letting you know that we’ve received your Master Application and employee enrollment details.

Next, we'll begin setting up your company's detailed benefits plan. This setup process typically takes 7-10 business days. Once this setup is complete, you’ll receive a second email from us confirming the coverage effective date and that ID cards have been mailed to employees.

On your coverage effective date, you’ll receive a third email introducing your Delta Dental account manager and billing auditor, who will be your main contacts for your benefits.

Finally, you will receive a fourth email which includes PDFs of your:

  • Group contract
  • Member certificates for employees
  • Summary of benefits
  • A blank enrollment/change form

If your business signed up to use the Delta Dental Employer Toolkit to enroll and manage your covered employees, plus pay your premium bills, your username and password will be sent in two separate emails for security purposes. If you haven’t signed up to use the Employer Toolkit, download our Employer Toolkit Access Request Form and email it to mpags@deltadentalar.com.
