Right Start 4 KidsSM

Reducing costs and barriers to children’s dental care

While regular dental care is important for people of all ages, it’s especially important for children’s developing mouths. Delta Dental of Arkansas offers the Right Start for Kids (RS4K) program to help children establish good oral health habits and a positive attitude towards dental care.

RS4K eliminates deductibles and co-insurance amounts your employees are used to paying for check-ups, exams, X-rays, sealants, fillings, crowns — all covered services for kids (except orthodontics) when they see a Delta Dental network dentist.2

RS4K is automatically included on our Delta 1000, 1500, 2000 and 2500 dental plans for small businesses. The program is expanded benefit coverage for kids 12 years of age and younger who are covered on a Delta Dental plan.

New group clients with 2-50 enrolled employees qualify for our plans that feature RS4K. Any new group clients with more than 50 enrolled employees can request that RS4K be added to the quote obtained through their broker or directly from Delta Dental of Arkansas.

If your business has more than 50 enrolled employees, ask your broker about adding RS4K to your dental plan. If you don’t have a broker, contact the Delta Dental of Arkansas sales team at (800) 814-3451.

When kids 12 years old or younger visit a Delta Dental network dentist, the RS4K benefits pay 100%1 for all covered services under their Delta Dental plan. These services include:

  • Cleanings, exams, X-rays, fluoride treatments, and sealants
  • Fillings
  • Crowns and tooth removal

Also, there are no deductibles or waiting periods for any covered services. Each plan’s annual maximum still applies.

1. Right Start 4 Kids benefits are subject to limitations, exclusions and your plan’s annual maximum. Check your certificate of coverage for details.
2. Orthodontic services (braces) are available but are not eligible for 100% coverage under Right Start 4 Kids. When an out-of-network dentist is seen, coverage levels will be reduced.
