Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation Accepting Applications for Community Grants Program
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 5, 2018) – The Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation is now accepting applications for 2019 Community Grants of up to $30,000 to help improve the oral health of Arkansans. The Community Grant application deadline is August 31, 2018, and recipients will be notified by December 2018. Funding will be available in January 2019. Through the Community Grant program, the Foundation seeks to expand access to oral health care in underserved areas. Grant applications will be judged based on the innovativeness of the proposed project and its potential impact on the oral health of Arkansans. The Foundation encourages Arkansas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits, school-based and governmental agencies to apply.
Last year, the Community Grant program received a record number of requests from organizations who applied for more than half a million dollars of funds to support a variety of programs, including charitable dental clinics, dental education programs and other oral health initiatives. Past grant recipients include Baptist Health, Harmony Health Clinic and Fayetteville School District.
Additionally, grants of up to $2,500 are available through the Mini Grants and Super Smiles at School programs. Applications for these are accepted year-round online.
