Delta Dental of Arkansas received the Arkansas Business of the Year Award during an awards ceremony held by Arkansas Business Publishing Group on February 25, 2014. Delta Dental won the award for Category III, which includes businesses with 76-300 employees. 

Each year, Arkansas Business Publishing Group sponsors the awards to honor businesses in three categories related to number of employees as well as business executives, nonprofit executives and nonprofit organizations in Arkansas.

To receive this award, businesses are first nominated by Arkansas Business readers, and the winners are selected by an independent panel of judges. 

In addition to receiving the Arkansas Business of the Year Award, Delta Dental of Arkansas was recognized as a one of Arkansas’ Best Places to Work in 2013. Delta Dental of Arkansas’ CFO Phyllis Rogers also received the 2013 Arkansas Business CFO of the Year Award in the large private company category and the 2013 Outstanding CPA in Business and Industry Award given by the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
